Colombian emeralds originate in the departments of Cundinamarca and Boyacá, specifically in the eastern mountain range. The emerald zone is formed by the municipalities of Gachalá, Borbur, Chivor, Otanche, Maripí and Muzo, being the region with the highest production and best quality.

This is why today we make sure that the origin of our gems are in a regulated and safe place for the people in charge of its extraction. For some time now in Colombia, large companies have intervened in the emerald mining process, regulating the entire process that takes place. This intervention has generated formality for miners who used to work as “guaqueros”, improving their quality of life and providing them with benefits they did not have before.

On the other hand, we have implemented environmentally responsible extraction methodologies, particularly taking care of our water resources by avoiding the use of chemicals and explosives in the process. In our points of sale, you could know a very special work we do with all the minerals that used to be discarded.

The process of elaboration of a jewel takes according to the complexity of the design, in some cases when the jewel has a simple design can be done in one working day maximum two_; when the design of the jewel has more work and a design with many shapes and stones is required, the elaboration of such jewel requires 3 to 5 working days since it would be necessary to send the design in casting.

Yes, with us you can quote, manufacture and purchase your engagement ring and wedding bands. However, it is important to know the difference between the two so that the choice of each is appropriate.

The engagement ring is the one that is given before the wedding, as a sign of interest in getting married. According to different customs and traditions the ring is worn on a certain finger and hand. It is usually a solitaire with a precious stone protruding from the main symmetrical structure; the intention of this traditional design is that later the ring and the bands have a union in their designs (the style can change according to the taste of each person).

Wedding rings are those that are given at the time of the wedding, and symbolize the union between the two people. For this case we offer you a catalog of possibilities of plain rings or with precious stones, with different types of finish. You can also customize them according to your taste by sending us a photo of the design.

For either case we offer yellow, white, pink and red gold. The time it takes to complete the work depends on the complexity of the design and can vary between two days and a week.

Yes, we can ship nationally and internationally. Jewelry must be declared and special insurance is paid to guarantee delivery. We normally work with Fedex, who we trust 100%.

Of course, we have a team trained in English and French that is ready to assist and advise you in all your doubts.

If you purchased your jewelry in any of our points of sale, these have unlimited warranty for cleaning and / or repairs. If you wish to restore or redesign your jewelry, you can do it with us, as long as the material is 18k gold (white or yellow) or 925 or 950 silver.

For the realization of the jewelry we work with 3 metals:

-Yellow, white and rose gold, quality 18 carat (750)
-Silver, quality Law 925 and 950
-Platinum

In addition, we use other metals to make alloys, such as palladium and copper.

The main difference between Colombian emeralds and those from other parts of the world is their formation process. Boyacá is the only region with hydrothermal deposits in sedimentary rock of marine origin.

The composition of all emeralds is the same, however Colombian emeralds have a lower amount of iron. This allows them to have a balance between their chemical composition and have a more intense color with better clarity.
