Colombian emeralds originate in the departments of Cundinamarca and Boyac\u00e1, specifically in the eastern mountain range. The emerald zone is formed by the municipalities of Gachal\u00e1, Borbur, Chivor, Otanche, Marip\u00ed and Muzo, being the region with the highest production and best quality. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The process of elaboration of a jewel takes according to the complexity of the design, in some cases when the jewel has a simple design can be done in one working day maximum two_; when the design of the jewel has more work and a design with many shapes and stones is required, the elaboration of such jewel requires 3 to 5 working days since it would be necessary to send the design in casting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The engagement ring is the one that is given before the wedding, as a sign of interest in getting married. According to different customs and traditions the ring is worn on a certain finger and hand. It is usually a solitaire with a precious stone protruding from the main symmetrical structure; the intention of this traditional design is that later the ring and the bands have a union in their designs (the style can change according to the taste of each person). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wedding rings are those that are given at the time of the wedding, and symbolize the union between the two people. If you purchased your jewelry in any of our points of sale, these have unlimited warranty for cleaning and \/ or repairs. The main difference between Colombian emeralds and those from other parts of the world is their formation process. Boyac\u00e1 is the only region with hydrothermal deposits in sedimentary rock of marine origin.

The composition of all emeralds is the same, however Colombian emeralds have a lower amount of iron. This allows them to have a balance between their chemical composition and have a more intense color with better clarity. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
